  9.      This document explains the items listed below. The driver should be used
  10.      only after this document has been read.

  17. <File composition>
  18.      The following files are contained in the directory PREDV95.
  19.       FJ480H.DRV      FUJITSU VM4 and VM8 printer driver module.
  20.       OEMSETUP.INF  Information file used for installing printer driver.
  21.       README.TXT    Contains explanation and points to note for printer
  22.                     driver.

  25. <Install Guide>
  26.      The FUJITSU VM4 and VM8 printer driver can be installed by method
  27.      described below:
  28.  
  29.      Set-up from Printers folder.
  30.  
  31.        (a)Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Printers.
  32.  
  33.        (b)Double-click Add Printer.
  34.  
  35.        (c)The Add Printer Wizard appears. Click "Next>".
  36.  
  37.        (d)Click "Have Disk" from the next dialog and the "Install from disk"
  38.           dialog box is displayed prompting the user to select the drive and
  39.           directory containing the installation disk.
  40.  
  41.        (e)Insert the Printer driver installation disk into the A: drive,
  42.           use the "Browse" button to select sub-directory PREDV95 of
  43.           drive A: and click the "OK" push-button.

  45.        (f)A dialog box appears displaying the model-names "Fujitsu VM4" and
  46.           "Fujitsu VM8". Click "Next>" to continue.
  47.  
  48.        (g)A list of available Ports appears. Select an appropriate Port and
  49.           click "Next>".

  51.        (h)A dialog appears prompting the user to type the Printer name. Type
  52.           an appropriate name or use the one supplied and click "Next>".

  54.        (i)The next dialog prompts the user to print a test page. Select "Yes"
  55.           or "No" and click "Finish".
  56.  
  57.        (j)Driver files are copied from the installation disk.
  58.           N.B. The following files are not contained on the Printer
  59.           installation disk and should be installed from the appropriate
  60.           Windows set-up disk, if not already contained in the Windows system
  61.           sub-directory:
  62.            ICONLIB.DLL, UNIDRV.DLL, UNIDRV.HLP.

  64.        (k)When all files have been copied and the driver is installed a dialog
  65.           appears querying the result of test page printout. Depending on
  66.           whether the test page was printed correctly or not click "Yes" or
  67.           "No".

  69.           The Fujitsu VM4 or VM8 Windows 95 printer driver is now
  70.           installed.

  73. <Points to Note>
  74.        (1)110, 921600 Baud rates are not supported by VM4 or VM8 and
  75.           should not be selected when using the serial port.
